Lighten the rock colour
Consider where I want the detail
Colour or Normal or Roughness
Can't have all 3 as it will look too noisy
Generally you want the normal to have the most detail
Underlying rock colour should be kept uniform
Clumps of moss could be made out of fur for stylisation
Realtime grass/fur
Adds depth
Hard surface material; should have cracks and flakiness in rock
Substance Designer
Create tileable texture to apply over whole model, then tweak where needed
Rock need layers to break up the mesh
Soften certain areas so it doesn't look so much like geometry
Arms look too simple
Upper left arm looks the best
Edges breaking up geometry
Consider how busy the model will get when I add foliage
Make sure to create negative space

Character sculpted and possibly part-way textured, ideally.
