  • Wasn't much personal investigative research; same character different styles, tri-counts

  • Start doing first hand practical research, learning by doing

  • It's good to know what others are doing but you need to do things yourself to learn the most

  • 90% outside opinion, 10% my own

  • Balance of production and research

  • Definitely 2 characters (of course)

  • Estimates of a character 4-6 weeks per character

  • Includes body rig (extra week if facial rig)

  • 3 weeks for facial animation

  • Move onto prodcution

Objectives for next week

  • Finish planning your time for character creation

  • Time myself to see how close my estimates of character pipeline is to my actual production time

  • How many characters could I get done (using FMP as template)
