This week I finished modelling Morgan and moved onto Dorethe. I made some tweaks to the body following of my tutor's advice on the body topology as well.
Morgan's current tri-count is: 9814

I modelled the shoes using some boots from a period shoe site that had a 360 view.

I made sure to compare my model with not only my concept, but also an anatomically correct male. Although it will be stylised and mostly covered, I still wanted to make sure that the base work was correct.

Testing the mesh in marvellous designer; not only is this fun for me but it also helps me troubleshoot. After finishing and tweaking the model I unwrapped the additions. I also might roll his sleeves up to his forearms, and have a cat scratch, and scaring (to help imply his line and work), possibly adding tattoos.

I then rendered Dorethe and made her orthographics.

This time round I decided to work directly off of some body ref, especially because she's pregant: http://www.deviantart.com/art/40-Week-Pregnancy-Turn-Around-Set-1-Reference-469495791
I also used parts of Morgan's body and made them more feminine.

After I'd finished the base body I made it look more like Dorethe's accounting for the:
Stylisation
Maternity Corset
She's not as far along in her pregnancy

Again, using parts of Morgan's mesh I started to model her face.

I re-topologised the face by editing the loops on the lower face, and generally cleaning it up.

I'm actually ahead of schedule and hope to get this model done soon, next week will be finishing the body and modelling her hair.
